Latest IGNOU Assignment Submission Date

The new last date for submission of assignments for June 2026 TEE is:

• New deadline: 31 May 2026.
• Session of examination applicable: June 2026 TEE
• Modes of study: ODL and eligible online courses
• Categories of programs Regular ODL, Online, GOAL and EVBB

The extension gave students who could not meet the original deadline extra time to submit their assignments. But the deadline for exam forms, projects, practical files or internship reports was not extended automatically.

H2. Is extension provided by IGNOU to all students?

The notification included the assignments for the June 2026 TEE. A learner may use the extension only if:

• The assignment was valid for the concerned admissions cycle.
• The student was registered for the course.
• The assignment related to the TEE June 2026.
• Submission was made by the method authorised by the allotted centre.

Double Check Assignment Before Submitting

IGNOU suggests the learners to search by programme or course code and check validity of assignment before downloading it. Please note: You cannot submit an assignment from a previous session even if you submit it before the due date.

How To Upload IGNOU Assignments

The Regional Centres and Study Centres allow different modes of submission of assignments. Students may be required to submit depending upon official instructions :

1. In Person At the designated Study Centre
2. By means of an approved online form
3. through the program’s Learning Management System
4. Speed Post or Courier where specifically allowed

What to Place on the Assignment Cover Page

The first page should read:

• Student name
• Registration No.
• Code of program
• Course code
• Code of the task
• Charter of Study Centre
• Centers Regional
• Cell phone number
• E mail
• Registration period
• Submission date

Incomplete information may delay the identification, evaluation or entry of marks.

Assignment Hold Submission Proof

Retain the evidence until the grades for the assignment are posted on the grade card.

What If You Miss the May 31, 2026 Assignment Submission Deadline?

If you missed the extended deadline of June 2026, please contact your allocated Study Centre or Regional Centre. They are not to assume that a late assignment will be accepted automatically.

Assignment and Exam Format – Different Due Dates:

Submission of assignment will not register a student for Term-End Examination. To be filled in separately examination form.

Likewise, submission of examination form does not mean you have submitted your assignment. Students must complete both processes by applicable deadlines.

Projects and dissertations may have a different date as well. Eligible final projects, dissertations and internship reports were due by June 15, 2026, according to the official online project portal for June 2026 TEE.

2. Note down the enrolment number.
3. IGNOU id card download.
4. Read the program listing.
5. Obtain official study materials.
6. Download the assignments for that class.
7. Do your homework on schedule.
